Well, as some of you may know, I have FINALLY decided to quit XGO. (My shackles are off!!!) I have actually made an undergound project in the midst of being in XGO in case thinges went awry. I have decided to restart my old clan. There is a change however, instead of The Axis Corps, it is now called The Axis Nation. The Harbinger:

Im currently working on a brainstorm chart to see if my story will flow properly with multiple events going on simultaniously. It will take a while but after I get 6 pages of the stuff, Ill re-write my first episode and get to body acting.

Slap My Flap:

Currently being redone by Ethan. Ethan wnted it to have more of a plot driving flow to it. The last series failed due to lack of progression. Though it had many funny lines, It just never took off. Ethan needs music for his first episode though, The stuff he had in mind just didnt go with it at all. Emperor Terx sent in his lines but since Ethan rewrote the script, He needs to do more that he doesnt know of. Production is slow but sure to make it into an episode soon.

Squad 1:

Ideas for it are now being shared between Steel and Terx. Though they dont get along often, Ethan comes in and makes things seem to fit a bit better. We are everywhere in the ideas department and it doesnt seem that this first episode will surface any time soon. Ethan and Terx are going to remake the Squad 1 Prologue and make it the best they can. Steel will learn from the experience by trying to best the redone film in any way he can on his own.

Burnt Yogurt:

This seemed to be more of a spark of a machinima than a flame. It died down quite fast. Its unknown wether or not Ethan still wants to work on this. Scripts have been made but no attempt to make an actual video makes it a dud.

ADMIN EDIT:  " Burnt Yogurt was an idea that came to me when I saw that Slap my Flap was a dieing process.  I wrote out the script for the first two episodes, gathered some voice actors, and even started the body acting, but then I decided to remake Slap my Flap.  Burnt Yogurt is now on delay.  I have not decided on whether I will make it or not, but let's just say I don't want the scripts to go to waste."

Good Ol' Halo:

We dont know what happened to the making of these random Halo 3 Comedy shorts. No one seemed to be enthusiastic about this idea at all.

As you can see, we are a busy bunch here on SmF. Our machinimas dont seem to be taking any real foot hold just quite yet. Lets just hope that we dont have to scrap all our ideas again.

Look around, and you will see some changes to the site.  I have added a toolbar at the bottom that allows you to chat with friends.  That means we probably need to send friend requests to eachother.  I also added an arcade, as well as some games.  I'll add more games later.  There is a links page, and the forge maps page is gone, as well as the chat page.   Forge maps can be posted in the game content section. 

Blarg. If Ethan wont give a weekly announcement/update, I will. Steel, please dont. Ill post them every Friday after school. Also, I made a few changes to the categories on this blog page, there are Announcements, Updates, Machinima, and Other. If you DO plan on making a blog post, put it into one of these four categories. What is up!?  You are reading the first SmF Weekly Update!  I've realized the site hasn't got any attention in a week, so I decided to give it some.  Lets kick off this update with some news on machinima.

Machinima:

I've come into the finalizing stages of Burnt Yogurt Episode 1.  I've posted several times that I have completed the script, but over time, I have made vast improvements.  I have one final decision to make before beginning acting.

My microphone broke, so I'm using my Eyetoy for now.  I will be getting a new mic on the 17th when I go to pick up AC2

I'm currently writing the script for the Burnt Yogurt Trailer, and will begin casting soon.

Voice actors for SmF E5 are still procrastinating...

I may do two machinima shorts this week.  One will be The Interview, one I have written already, the other unnamed and secret.

I'm going to figure out how to make call of duty machinima because I have an idea for one involving knives.

Other: There is no other news this week, other than machinima.  However, when there is other news, it will be posted in it's own category.

How do you guys feel about weekly PSA's?  We could all get together on Skype to talk about how are projects are looking, and any plans we may have for the community.  We could upload them here as an active site project, and also upload them to youtube to increase view count.

Ethan, I click on the videos section and everything seems to have been removed. It still has recent videos on the side but when I click on any of them it says 0 out of 0 videos. Whats up with that??
